Can't get embedded wmv file to play in browser

I don't know if this is the right forum or not so please point me in the right direction if not.
I am trying to get an embedded .wmv file to play in the browser.  The file plays just fine stand alone.  However, when embedded in a page Windows Media Player says READY but nothing plays even though the code is set for autostart.  When I click on the PLAY
button, it appears the video starts to play for a brief second and then stops and Windows Media Player says READY.
Other embedded .wmv files play just fine in my pages.

Check memory problems

Memory management issues can also cause a BSOD in Windows 7. Thankfully, Windows 7 has a Memory Management Diagnostic tool that detects and solves problems related to system memory.

1. Click on the Start button on the Taskbar.
2. Type "Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool" or "Memory" (without quotes) in the Search box or,
