Acer Laptop recovery partition screwed -- no disks -- have OEM Windows 7 ultimate
Fixing a friends laptop, virus or something stomped all over recovery partition and OS.
No disks.
Do not want to pay Acer yet another 20 bucks for a recovery disk.

Which is correct? Why wouldn't my Windows 7 OEM DVD work to install on an acer laptop and use the product key found on the bottom???

In this method we will try to Boot in Safe mode with Networking and see if the error still persists.
- Search "MSCONFIG" and Open.
- Click on Boot Tab
- Tick Safe Boot in Boot Option
- Select Network.
- Click Apply and OK.
- Reboot your System.
