I need to make space on my computer.
I just realized I have all of the following installed and they're taking up lots of space:
Microsoft.net framework 1.1, Microsoft.net framework 2.0 service pack 2, Microsoft.net framework 3.0 service pack 2, Microsoft.net framework 3.5 service pack 1 .
Which ones can I get rid of without ruining the function of my computer?

Here are some ways to recover some space
Try disabling Hibernation and you will gain disk space equal to the amount of RAM on your system.
Control Panel / Performance and Maintenance / Power Options / Hibernate tab, and uncheck the Enable hibernation box
If it is enabled you will see that XP has reserved disk space equal to your RAM for hibernation
You can re-enable hibernation easily by checking the box again as XP recreates the hiberfil.sys file.
“Hiberfil.sys” is the size of your RAM since XP dumps the whole memory to this file before putting the system into hibernation
Reduce space used by System Restore
To adjust the amount of space System Restore uses on a disk, go to the Control Panel ('Start > Control Panel') and double click the 'System' icon.
Then click on the 'System Restore' tab on the system applet.
Depending on your disk setup use the following
instructions:

•

If you have just a single partition on your system: You can adjust the space system restore uses on the disk by moving the slider on this page left (to decrease space usage) or right (to increase space usage.
The maximum space usage is 12% and is the
default.

•

If you have a multiple partitions on your system or multiple disks: Click on the drive you want to adjust in the available drives section on the System Restore page and then click the settings option.
You can then adjust the space system restore uses
on that drive by moving the slider to the left (to decrease space usage) or right (to increase space usage).
The maximum space usage is 12% and is the default.
Repeat for each drive as necessary.
You can reduce this by half and still have enough Restore Points.
If is up to you how many you need to keep
If possible turn off System Restore on all but the partition where the OS is installed
