Cannot access drives on my vista pc through my windows 7 laptop

I am trying to network my vista pc and my win 7 laptop.  The vista pc sees and access all files and drives on my win 7 laptop.  But my win 7 laptop is unable to access the drives (I have 2) on my vista pc.  The win 7 see the vista pc on my network.  I can
access the vista pc, i can see the drives, but access is denied due to "no permission, contact your administrator".  The public folder access fine, just not the "c" and "n" drives.  "N" is an extra internal drive I added. 
 
I have double checked that the drives are shared, added permission to everyone, even turned off password just in case.

This could because of your security software restricting the access of the drive of your Vista computer.
 
I'd suggest you follow these steps and check if they help.
 
Step 1:
 
Disable all security software and check if the issue persists.

Boot in Safe Mode:

• Open Run command as previously described
• Type MSConfig
• Click on Boot tab
• Tick Safe boot in Boot option
• Select Network
• Click Apply and OK
• Reboot your system

Your system will boot in Safe mode with Networking. You may now try and open Windows Store and should not see any errors.
