I have a series of dates and numbers. Dates (example only) are every Wednesday for 3 weeks, then a Thrusday, then a Wednesday, then a Friday, with 2nd column have a value. When I try and chart the two on a simple bar chart, the chart assumes I want every
date for a Wednesday and autofills in dates with a value of zero until I reach the end of the string. I cannot find any way for the chart to recognize the actual dates I selected for the chart and ignore the "auto date" issue unless I format the cells as
text and then select for the chart.
Is there a way (other than formatting as text) to tell the chart to ignore whatever auto-date feature it uses and ONLY use the dates (thereby cells) I select for the chart
Help appreciated - or direct me to proper forum to ask this question

In order to draw the chart accurately, Excel chooses a regular interval to display on the axis (seven days in this case) and offsets the bar from the label/tick mark appropriately.
The cleanest way to accomplish what you ask is to resize the chart, making it bigger until it is sufficiently large that Excel will automatically select one day as the preferred unit. Making the chart its own sheet by right-clicking and selecting "Move
Chart" then selecting "New Sheet" is one way.
An alternative is to decrease the text size. Select the chart, then on the home tab in the font section, select a smaller font size or use the A with down arrow button to decrease incrementally. Hopefully there is a point where the text is still legible
but the axis units are where you want them.
You can also adjust the units by right-clicking on the axis and selecting 'Format Axis...' then changing the major unit from auto to fixed and selecting one day as the preferred unit. This will cause the labels to be very cramped if the chart area isn't
big enough or the font not small enough.
Another way is to format the axis as text as an alternative to making the data text. This can be accomplished by right-clicking the axis, selecting "Format Axis" and under the Axis Type: heading (just below the part where you set the units) choose Text
Axis.

In this method we will try to Boot in Safe mode with Networking and see if the error still persists.

Search "MSCONFIG" and Open.
Click on Boot Tab
Tick Safe Boot in Boot Option
Select Network.
Click Apply and OK.
Reboot your System.
