Original title: I want to livestream a TV program.  When I go to the website, and click on "Watch Live," I get a request to download a feature the system says I need in order to watch.
 
 
I realize that you, as Microsoft, need to not do things that may seem to block out the efforts of smaller software firms, but what I have been experiencing casts a bad light on Microsoft.  The last experience involved a search engine called Babylon, listing
themselves as a Microsoft partner.
but the first thing it seemed to do was to reroute my Internet Explorer to their site, and away from the MSN site I use as a home page.  Without any permission.  The rest ot the problems seem to be that for someone with limited
experience, like me, there should be a clear way to arrange the system so that I can set up to do Live Streaming, or music (I have been using iTunes), or word processing (I use Word), or web surfing (I use Internet Explorer, I think 8).  Having pop-up jump
in at all points is reducing the web experience, not increasing it.  It could be tyhat there could be a setting that says "OK, now I want to see pop-ups, and ads, and what not." And then a setting that locks out those things.  If I am watching TV, or the Web,
or word processing (and come to think of it, I don't get pop-ups in Word, so why not in other uses?) I would like to stop all the other distractions, which seem to come wsith tricky wording to get me to sign up to something.
 
I really do like the majority of Microsoft stuff.  The Microsoft Fix-It Center, the automatic updates of Microsoft operating programs, and the Hot-Fix site are all great.  You have been able to make the computer experience excellent.  But the other stuff
I can well do without.

To view a video in a browser, you need a flash program such as Adobe.
You can download and install the program and then view the videos.
