how do i turn off windows backup?

every sunday 7:30 pm i got this annoying message of windows backup (insert removable media)
how do i shut this off
 
i did backup it twice or three times i guess on several dvd's and i guess it's useless
and i already had a malware before so i guess when i restore this backups it would reinfect the system again right?
 
so what's windows backup (1st)
,is it important?
(2nd) then tell me how to turn it off please
